IT’S GOING TO HAPPEN!!

Gretten Street, south of Gilbert, is going to be paved to 190th Street (locally known as Moose Road).  And, we are very excited to also be including a 10 foot wide bike path/walking trail!  The trail will be adjacent to, but separate from the newly paved road; and, it will connect to Ada Hayden Park.  The Gilbert Trail Project will be completed during the 2017 year.

In joint cooperation, Story County, the Gilbert School District, and the City of Gilbert are participating by raising half of the estimated cost of $300,000, for the trail.   THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN….

WE NEED YOUR HELP BY DONATING TOWARD THIS COMMUNITY PROJECT!

Our target goal is $150,000, and regardless the amount you might be willing to donate, every dollar is very much appreciated and welcomed!  Please consider giving, and encourage friends and neighbors to support this great project as well!

All check donations can be written to the Gilbert Community Historical Society, a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization (a receipt will be sent to you for your tax records).  Please use the following address:
