On February 14th, Gilbert Elementary and Intermediate students assembled in the gym to celebrate the two weeks of Jump Rope for Heart. Planned and led by the PBIS council, students participated in heart healthy activities and raised funds for those with heart disease. The students who raised over $200 got to silly string Mrs. Griffin (watch video below). A special thanks to the Head of the American Heart Association for coming to the elementary and intermediate schools to recognize our students’ hard work. Last year we raised $15,235 and this year we raised $17,500! Great work Gilbert students!
