Scholastic Writing Contest Winners

This year the ELP students once again participated in the Scholastic Writing Contest.  Each year, I am amazed at the talent these students put forth as they enter this contest. It takes courage and dedication to submit to such a high leveled competition.

**We are privileged to have an American Voices and Vision winner- Ella Hatfield.  The American Voices & Visions Medals, the highest regional honors, are given to one writer and one artist from each region.

From the pool of nominees, a panel of jurors in New York City selects one writer and one artist from each region to receive an American Voices Medal or an American Visions Medal, a non-financial highest regional honor. These Medalists are celebrated during National Events and at the National Exhibition in New York City.
