Gilbert Parent Teacher Organization

The Gilbert Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) promotes open communication among parents, teachers and administrators, and aid to the students and staff by providing support for educational and recreational needs. The PTO is open to any parent who would like to be involved! It’s a valuable way to have an impact on the school, get to know the administration and teachers, and create community with other parents in the district. We host monthly meetings which are a great way to stay in-the-know, but we also offer ways to be involved through one-time commitments. Whatever your time and talents, we have a spot for you!

Some of our past efforts have resulted in funding or executing the Veteran’s Day Assembly, Spring Carnival, Teacher Supply Lists, Field Days, School Supply Kits, playground equipment, and various field trips. We function through the help of volunteers and on the budget established by fundraising efforts.

PTO Monthly Meetings

We meet at 7 p.m. the first Monday of every month in the Gilbert Intermediate School Library, unless it falls on a holiday. Join at any time! At the meetings you’ll hear from school staff and administrators, and we’ll discuss Gilbert PTO events and spending. All parents and guardians in attendance can provide input as to how Gilbert PTO funds are spent.
