Back to School Social

Gilbert PTO hosts a back-to-school social during the hours Elementary and Intermediate students bring in their school supplies and meet their teachers. We may serve food and/or treats and refreshments. We also put together teacher biographies to help parents and students learn about their teacher.

Box Tops

You can send Box Tops for Education to school any time during the year. The schools oversee this program and use the money to purchase library books.


The Gilbert PTO Carnival includes games for all ages, prizes, inflatables, a dance room, laser tag, delicious food, a raffle, and more (activities subject to change). This is our largest fundraiser!

Conference Meals

On Parent/Teacher Conferences nights, Gilbert PTO plans a meal for teachers and staff.


Gilbert PTO prints a directory for the Elementary, Intermediate, and Middle schools.  It includes students’ address, phone, guardians, and other helpful information.

Education Event

Gilbert PTO plans a free evening of education for students or parents.  We strive to find enthusiastic presenters who inspire the crowd with their knowledge.

Labels for Education

You can send Labels for Education to school with your child any time during the school year. Featured brands include BIC, Campbell’s, Chunky, Dannon, Emerald, Glad, Pepperidge Farms, Pop Secret, Post, and Swanson.

Mileage Club

Sponsored by Mary Greeley Medical Center: Students can walk or run during recess to earn tokens, certificates, t-shirts, and more!  They can also keep track of the fruits and vegetables they eat to earn extra tokens

Teacher Appreciation

Gilbert PTO organizes a lunch or other gesture for teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week.

Teacher Supply Closet

Teachers and staff can make requests for supplies that will be fulfilled with by Gilbert PTO volunteers or the district office.


Gilbert PTO compiles yearbooks for the Elementary and Intermediate schools.
