There are a lot of moving parts to a school district and our administrative team has done a nice job of working with staff to improve student learning.  We also a debt of gratitude to all of our support staff who keep our schools clean, feed our students, run the offices and safely transport people each and every day.  The end of a year gives us time to reflect on our successes and our failures, and while I believe this has been a very successful year for the district, we can keep moving onward and upward and try to fix the issues that weren’t as successful this year.  I’d also like to take a moment to extend my gratitude to the people in the district who choose to take on all of the “extra curriculars”.  Coaching, directing, advising, sponsoring a program in the district isn’t called “extra” for nothing!  The amount of hours and the dedication required in developing our students’ talents is staggering and colossally underappreciated.  I would sincerely like to thank everyone who has made this such a strong year in the district.  Let’s finish well keeping our focus on Every Student, Every Day!!

We still have some exciting events coming up this year including Prom, tournaments or state qualifying events for our spring sports, and a large group music contest hosted by our high school.  If you’re looking for some entertainment come out to see our young people dressed up in their finery at the Grand March for Prom, support our athletes in soccer, golf, track and field, or listen to our choir and band as well as others from the area as they compete at contest.  It can be highly entertaining to watch our young people who have worked hard to develop their skills give it their all!
