Welcome to Gilbert High School

At Gilbert High School, we are dedicated to helping Every Student Every Day succeed by putting our vision into action.  The daily actions of all staff and students create a culture of encouragement and pride through the active application of our Vision pillars: Respect, Integrity, Growth, and Pride.  Our staff currently serves over 507 students in grades 9-12.  Our growing district seeks to offer outstanding programs and learning opportunities while maintaining a small-school feel. Modern facilities, a one-to-one laptop initiative, an emphasis on project-based learning and many school-sponsored clubs make GHS a great place to go to school.  GHS was awarded the 2014 Blue Ribbon Schools Award by the United States Department of Education and received an exceptional rating on the new Iowa Report Card. Only 1% of high schools in Iowa received this high of a rating.  At GHS, we believe Every Student, Every Day is the key to our success.

Gilbert High School is a place where every student finds opportunities to learn and
grow. Classes emphasize critical thinking and collaboration, ensuring our GHS
graduates continue on to college and careers with the skills they need to excel.
Students are met with high expectations and support, ensuring their needs are met as they challenge and better themselves with a wide variety of academics and activities. Our school community continues to provide opportunities for students,
with an expansion to our CTE and Fine Arts facilities. At Gilbert High School, Every
Student, Every Day has a path to success.
