Welcome to Gilbert Intermediate School!

I am excited for another great school year and am even more excited to work with our AMAZING teaching and support staff as well as our children! We strive each day to provide the best for your child! This handbook contains information about policies and procedures of Gilbert Intermediate School. A copy is provided to parents for reference via the school’s website. A printed copy may be requested. The handbook is updated each summer. It is my hope that the use of this handbook will improve communication between the school and the home and diminish student or parent misunderstandings about expectations and procedures. This handbook is officially adopted by the Board of Education as part of Board policy. The Board of Education meets regularly on the second Monday of the month (except for special meetings) in the District Conference Room.
