Summer Reading Program

This summer, Gilbert Community Schools will be offering a summer reading program for our students who need additional assistance in the area of reading. Gilbert has created a program based on the recommendations from the Iowa Department of Education.Summer school will consist of two 3-week sessions for a total of 70 hours of reading instruction. Teacher to student ratio will be approximately 1:5. For the summer of 2016, we are inviting the children that qualify based on our criteria.
